HDL · Internal engine · Live in production

Meet Ariane.
HDL’s delivery engine.

Two years in the making. Claude, Codex, GPT, Figma and Cursor woven into one orchestrated workflow. Ariane is the reason our clients ship in eight weeks instead of six months.

Ariane orchestration diagram

[ 01 — WHY ARIANE EXISTS ]

One model isn’t enough.
An orchestra is.

Frontier models are extraordinary at different things. Claude reasons about systems. Codex writes production-grade code. GPT reviews logic at scale. Figma now talks back through MCP. Ariane is the conductor — routing each task to the model that does it best, under senior human supervision.

01 / Routing

The right model for the right task.

Ariane decides what runs where. Architecture goes to Claude. Code goes to Codex. Reasoning audits go to GPT. You never pay for a model doing what it's bad at.

02 / Evals

Quality verified in the loop.

Every output is graded against HDL's internal evals before it reaches a client. Code that fails ours is automatically retried with a different prompt — or a different model.

03 / Context

Project memory that persists.

Ariane keeps state across sessions: architecture decisions, naming conventions, client preferences. Six weeks in, it still knows why we picked tRPC over GraphQL on day one.

04 / Design ↔ Code

Figma is a first-class node.

Through MCP, Ariane reads Figma frames directly. Design tokens become CSS variables. Components become React files. No more redrawing the system in code.

05 / Supervision

Senior humans always in the loop.

Ariane proposes; the senior architect decides. Every commit is reviewed. Nothing ships to a client environment without a human signature.

06 / Cost

Three times faster. Half the team.

The honest number: Ariane is why HDL Flagship runs at 8–12 weeks instead of 24, with three people instead of seven, at half the price of a traditional agency.

[ 02 — THE STACK ]

Every layer chosen for one reason: it’s the best at one thing.

We don't bet on a single provider. We bet on the workflow. When a model gets replaced, Ariane swaps it without us rewriting the studio.

C
Claude
Architecture · Sparring

Long-context reasoning, system design, code review at the senior architect's elbow.

Codex
Code production

The workhorse. Writes the bulk of production code under tight Ariane prompts and guardrails.

GPT
Reasoning · QA

Audits code, catches edge cases, scores outputs against the eval suite before review.

Cursor
Pair programming

The IDE Ariane and the architect share. Inline diffs, agent runs, immediate human override.

F
Figma + MCP
Design system

Ariane reads Figma directly: tokens to CSS, components to React, frames to flow specs.

K
Kepler Cloud
Runtime

Our own delivery infrastructure. Ariane deploys here; clients run here. Documented uptime.

E
HDL Evals
Guardrails

Internal grading suite. Every Ariane output passes our quality bar before a human sees it.

+
Future models
Swappable by design

Ariane is a workflow, not a wrapper. Tomorrow's frontier model plugs into the same slot.

[ 03 — TWO YEARS OF QUIET WORK ]

Built in production, on real projects, since early 2024.

We didn't announce Ariane. We used it. Every iteration was tested against a paying client before it became part of the system.

Q1 — 2024

The first orchestrated build.

Claude as architect, GPT as code reviewer, a senior developer as conductor. Shipped a Flagship project in 11 weeks. The studio understood: this works.

Q3 — 2024

Cursor enters the loop.

The architect's IDE becomes the meeting point. Inline AI diffs, real-time agent runs, immediate human override. Velocity doubles again.

Q1 — 2025

HDL Evals — the quality gate.

We stop trusting model output by default. Every code change passes our own grading suite before a human reviews it. False starts collapse by 70%.

Q3 — 2025

Figma MCP integration.

Design becomes a first-class data source. Ariane reads frames directly — tokens to CSS, components to React — and design drift drops to near zero.

2026

Ariane today.

Six clients in active delivery. Claude, Codex, GPT running in concert. Eight-week Flagship is the new normal, not the exception.

[ 04 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS ]

The questions we get asked most.

  1. 01
    Can we license Ariane?

No. Ariane is HDL's internal delivery engine. You can't buy it. You can hire HDL and the work will be delivered with it.

  2. 02
    Is my code training data?

No. Every model in Ariane is configured with zero retention. Your code is not used to train anyone, including us.

  3. 03
What happens when a model gets replaced?

The Ariane workflow stays. The model in the slot changes. We've already swapped GPT and Claude without breaking a single project.

  4. 04
Is a human still writing the code?

A senior human is always reading and approving the code. Ariane writes the draft; the architect ships the commit. Nothing reaches your environment without a human signature.

  5. 05
How does this compare to using ChatGPT or Claude yourself?

Like the difference between a piano and an orchestra. A single model is a tool. Ariane is the workflow, the routing, the evals, the memory, the design integration and the senior supervision around the tools.
